Ready for SkillsUSA Week?

SkillsUSA Week almost here! From Feb. 6-10, your chapter can participate in many ways. Plan activities that follow the daily schedule for chapters nationwide.

  • Monday, Feb. 6, Recognition Day. Recognize and honor members, advisors, administrators, business partners, community leaders and supporters who make a difference to your program and SkillsUSA chapter.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 7, Give Back Day. Rally around your school community and focus on ways for your chapter to give back.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 8, Partner Day. Invite local business and industry leaders to connect with members, highlighting the importance of the career-readiness skills in the SkillsUSA Framework.

  • Thursday, Feb. 9, Advocacy Day. Amplify CTE in your community by conducting a local public relations activity, such as presenting to school board members, administrators or community leaders.

  • Friday, Feb. 10, SkillsUSA Day. Celebrate by wearing SkillsUSA T-shirts, planning a fun chapter activity or posting SkillsUSA Framework stories on social media with the hashtag: #SkillsUSAWeek.

The SkillsUSA Week Chapter Guide helps chapters plan for each day of SkillsUSA Week. Be sure to invite the media to cover or attend your events. The SkillsUSA Advocacy Site has an editable letter template to promote your activities to the local media that you can personalize with details about your school, training programs and activities. Share your stories, photos or links with the SkillsUSA headquarters and we just may feature your chapter on the SkillsUSA Champions digital hub or on our social media. Thanks for being an advocate for SkillsUSA and career and technical education!
